“Idiotic Robotic" is a series of short subtly comedic sketches revolving around a group of robots working in an office environment.
Long Synopsis
"Idiotic Robotic" explores three groups of robotic characters and their interactions within their work environment. It reflects the ridiculous situations people find themselves in during even the most mundane of days. One pair of robots discuss the nature of "Air Guitars", while another robot is haunted by the relentless chatterings of a work mate. The final situation deals with how easy it is to offend work mates sometimes, and how it can affect your worklife afterwards.
About the Film and its Director
“Idiotic Robotic” is David Stein's second short film, which deviates from the style of the first film in many ways. It was created as an experiment, to see if a short film could be successfully spoken entirely by computer synthesised voices. The film succeeds in as many ways as it fails and is as much a Shelley-esque monstrosity as it is an entertaining sketch comedy.
